One Piece Paramount War TCG

One Piece: Paramount War is currently a Japanese trading card game based on the popular manga and anime series “One Piece.” The game features characters, events, and locations from the series, and players build decks of cards to compete against each other. The “Paramount War” in the game’s title refers to the battle between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Marine forces at Marineford, a key event in the One Piece storyline.

When Did One Piece Paramount War Come Out In English?

The English version of One Piece: Paramount War was released on March 3rd, 2023. The Japanese set has been out since November of 2022.

What Happened Between The Straw Hat Pirates And The Marine Forces At Marineford?

The battle at Marineford was a conflict that took place in the One Piece world between the Straw Hat Pirates and the Marine forces led by the Marines’ admiral, Akainu. This battle was one of the biggest events in the series, as it involved many of the major players in the One Piece world, including Whitebeard, one of the Four Emperors of the sea, and his pirate crew, as well as other pirate crews, Marines, and members of the Shichibukai, a group of seven pirates who have allied themselves with the World Government.

The battle was fought over Whitebeard’s subordinate, Portgas D. Ace, who was captured by the Marines and sentenced to be executed. The Straw Hat Pirates attempted to rescue Ace, which led to the massive battle at Marineford.

The battle resulted in many casualties and had major consequences for the One Piece world.

One Piece Paramount War TCG

After the Battle at Marineford, the world of One Piece underwent several significant changes. Some of the key events that took place include:

The Death of Whitebeard: Whitebeard, one of the Four Emperors of the sea, was killed during the Battle at Marineford, which resulted in a power vacuum in the pirate world.

Formation of the Pirate Alliance: A group of pirate crews formed an alliance in response to the increasing power of the Marines and the World Government.

Release of the Impel Down Prisoners: A group of powerful prisoners from Impel Down, the world’s most secure prison, were released during the Battle at Marineford.

Change in the Shichibukai: Several members of the Shichibukai, a group of seven pirates who have allied themselves with the World Government, either resigned or were dismissed after the Battle at Marineford.

New World Introduction: The Battle at Marineford marked the beginning of the characters’ journey into the New World, the second half of the Grand Line, where they face even greater challenges and adversaries.

These events and others had a major impact on the One Piece world and set the stage for future events in the series.

One Piece Paramount War Best Cards

Below you can find the new main chase in the latest set.

Manga Ace Paramount War Card Game

“Manga” Portgas D. Ace Parallel Alternate Art OP02-013 SR

Just as the “Manga” Shanks is the current most valuable card in the English Romance Dawn set, the new “Manga” Ace is already the highest value card from the Japanese set which has already released a few months ago.

It is safe to say that this card will similarly become the most valuable “chase” card from the second set expansion in the English language.

Portgas D. Ace is a fictional character in the manga and anime series One Piece created by Eiichiro Oda. He is the adopted older brother of the main protagonist, Monkey D. Luffy, and was a pirate captain and member of the Whitebeard Pirates. He was also one of the twelve pirates known as the “Worst Generation.”
